My Story

Bella Ami was born from a whisper-one that called me to create something more tender, more intimate. 

I’m Chef Janelle Pitterson, a Brooklyn-born chef with Panamanian roots, and Bella Ami is my love letter to those who give so much. After years spent cooking for others in fine dining kitchens and soulful spaces, I felt called to create something more personal. Something tender. Something just for you.

Bella Ami means “beautiful friend.” These bonbons are small luxuries—each one an invitation to pause, savor, and come home to yourself. Crafted with Caribeña soul and French technique, they hold stories of legacy, joy, and intention.

This soft launch is just the beginning—a limited-edition glimpse into what’s coming. Thank you for being part of it.
